There so many good things I can talk about this company. These guys are top notch professionals. The workmanship of these workers are second to none. The looks of my new roof is beautiful. These guys were fast. The installation and cuts were done in a straight and precise manner. They do not cut corners to save material and I would add that they installed extra material to make the roof more waterproofed which they didn't have to. It does demonstrate the kind of integrity that Tailored Home Improvements possess. They also added complimentary water deflectors so that when water runs down the roof where roof and wall meets at the bottom, the water will be deflected away from the house instead of running on the house walls. Very thoughtful and appreciated.

We were extremely happy with the work the crew did. They were pleasant, quiet and respectful to us and our dog. The owner is very personable, we highly recommend them.

During a thaw after some major freezing weather, water started leaking through the attic into the house. It turned out that between the woefully inadequate original attic insulation, lack of proper venting in the original roof, and poor job done by previous roofers, the attic was in poor shape. We needed to replace not just the shingles but large parts of the roof itself, as well as put in proper insulation that is up-to-code today and not when our house was first built. Needing something done in a hurry, we called THI. One of Al's men was on the roof the next day, and hacked some channels in the ice to prevent water buildup - which is what caused the problem in the first place. Al explained the issue in great detail, answered questions that we had, described in detail what needed to be done and why - something that many contractors do not do well. As soon as the weather was good enough for the work, Al and his crew were able to complete the job in three days - with Al explaining what was being done and why. Al was a pleasure to deal with - not many contractors will provide so much detail about what they are doing and why, and answer any questions at length.

The owner actually came by and did a careful assessment and provided me a quote - explains the product and the process. He also educated me on potential risks once the work started so that I would not be surprised. Once we agreed on the contract - he sent actual samples and provided a list of local homes that had those samples installed. In the day of the work, the team that showed up was polite and respectful of our property. They worked fast and got the job done efficiently - and cleaned up before leaving the same day, and the owner came by to confirm the work was completed.

We have asked Tailored Home Improvements for a new roof to replace our old one and we have never seen such a productive team work on our home. They managed to do the entire roof within a single day with no breaks and even identified other structural issues like a crack in the beam and piping issues that they asked me if they wanted me to fix along with pictures (to which I replied yes of course). Not only did they give me a fresh new roof, they also gave me a new sunroof and fixed a bunch of stuff in my attic that would pose a problem for my home in the future as well as installed updated water evacuation rails so water does not pool up near my chimney (I have an older home). We honestly feel like these guys/gals went above and beyond what we expected to the point where we kinda wish all the contractors we get will always be like this. Watching and hearing them work, you could tell they were actually having a great time and had a blast on the job. They left 0 mess and 0 damage. Couldnt even find a nail remaining on my property. As for the roof replacement project itself, it was fulfilled by a team of professionals, they arrived early in the morning and worked cheerfully, taking care of everything and leaving no mess behind at all.
